1. What Livefolio does
Livefolio is an execution tool that mechanically evaluates third-party, user defined strategy rules using live market data. It shows you what assets a strategy's rules currently call for. Users independently select their own strategies. Livefolio does not create, recommend, or personalize strategies. It is not a financial advisor, broker-dealer, or registered investment adviser.
2. Not financial advice
Nothing on Livefolio constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. Strategy evaluations are provided for informational purposes only. Example strategies displayed on the dashboard are for informational purposes only and are not available for auto-deployment. Strategy performance metrics reflect historical backtests, not guarantees of future performance. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions.
3. Auto-deploy
Auto-deploy allows you to connect a brokerage account and have Livefolio mechanically calculate rebalancing trades based on the strategy rules you independently selected. When the strategy's rules produce a new allocation, Livefolio calculates the required trades and presents them for your review. You must explicitly confirm each batch of orders before they are executed. Livefolio will never execute trades without your explicit approval — unconfirmed orders expire at market close. Livefolio acts solely as an execution conduit for your own strategy choices. The auto-deploy fee is for the mechanical execution service, not for investment advice or strategy selection.
4. Brokerage connections
Brokerage connections are managed through SnapTrade, a third-party service. Livefolio does not store your brokerage credentials. You can view and disconnect your accounts at any time from your Settings page. SnapTrade's own terms and privacy policy apply to your brokerage connection.
5. Accounts
You sign in with a magic link sent to your email. You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
6. Subscriptions and billing
The free tier includes strategy evaluation and email notifications when allocations change. This is impersonal, general-circulation information. The Pro tier ($20/month) provides auto-deploy execution tooling. The Pro fee is for the mechanical execution service, not for investment advice or strategy selection. You may subscribe or cancel at any time from your account settings.
7. No guarantee of results
Past performance is not indicative of future results. Strategy rules may not perform as backtested. Market data may be delayed or incorrect. Livefolio makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data or evaluation. The service may be unavailable at any time without notice.
8. Limitation of liability
Livefolio is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any losses arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to investment losses, trade execution errors, partial fills, market conditions, strategy performance, or brokerage outages.
9. User responsibility
By using Livefolio, you acknowledge that you are making your own investment decisions. Livefolio is an execution tool, not an advisor. You have independently selected your strategy and accept all associated risks. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming all orders before they are executed.
10. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Livefolio after changes constitutes acceptance.
