Livefolio

Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

1. What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

  • Email address — used for authentication (magic link sign-in) and strategy subscription notifications.
  • Strategy subscriptions — which strategy you are subscribed to, so we can send you allocation change notifications.
  • Brokerage account data — if you enable auto-deploy, we access your account name, account number, and current holdings via SnapTrade in order to calculate rebalancing trades. This data is stored only as long as needed to process your orders.
  • Order data — trade orders you confirm or reject, their execution status, and SnapTrade responses. Retained for your order history.

2. What we do not collect

We do not collect passwords (sign-in is passwordless), payment card numbers, brokerage credentials, or browsing history. Livefolio never stores your brokerage login — SnapTrade manages the secure connection to your broker.

3. How we use your data

  • To authenticate you via magic link emails.
  • To send allocation change notifications for strategies you subscribe to.
  • To calculate and present rebalancing trades if you enable auto-deploy.
  • To execute confirmed trades through SnapTrade on your behalf.
  • We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.

4. Third-party services

We use the following services to operate Livefolio:

  • Supabase — database and authentication.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Vercel — hosting.
  • SnapTrade — brokerage account connections and trade execution. When you connect a brokerage account, SnapTrade processes your account data, holdings, and trade orders. Livefolio does not store your brokerage credentials — SnapTrade manages the secure connection. See SnapTrade's privacy policy.

These services may process your data as part of their operation. Each has their own privacy policy.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. Order history is retained for your records. You can delete your account from your settings page, which removes your data from our systems. Disconnecting a brokerage account removes the associated auto-deploy data.

6. Your rights

You can unsubscribe from notifications at any time. You can disconnect brokerage accounts from your settings page. You can delete your account and all associated data from your settings page. If you need help, contact us.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Livefolio after changes constitutes acceptance.
